will I look in the mirror
and try to see
the girl everyone

I see nothing
no reflection
just a ghost
standing in the mirror.

with a broken smile.

Hurt in my eyes
hiding the lies
with a smile
that never lasts.

People don't look
I'm not even there.
Invisible to the world
not even alive.

Lie awake at night
thinking why
friends think I'm pretty
and my boyfriend thinks I'm hot
when I don't see any reflection
