Memories of you

by ABrookeD   Sep 11, 2005

I was your little princess
Ever since that frightful day
When you lost your memory
Now nothing is the same

I miss your loving face
All the ice cream that you gave
You always knew what kind to get
The exact flavor that I craved

Your hugs so warm and loving
Your kisses soft and sweet
I could hear your whistle anywhere
Even up the street

I will always love you grandpa
Regardless of your fate
Just remember all the moments we shared
That made your life so great

I'm getting older now
Still believing there is hope
But I now am understand
People have there time to go

Playing in your yard
Man those were the days
Eating the special lunches you made
On your special trays

Here is my goodbye to you
But you should always know
My memories of you will never fade
And your love I'll never trade
