The Battle

The battle of life,
Isn’t much of a battle.
You cant win,
You will always lose.
Yet, you cant go through life believing that.
You simply need to look at what matters,
And that’s what you focus on,
Not so much the battle.
And defiantly not the loss.
There may not be heaven,
But you wont know.
All you know,
Is now.
This is your first battle,
The one you will struggle to win,
Knowing you will lose.
But in losing,
You will win so many things.
Things not even death can take away.
