The Vision

by Justin   Sep 11, 2005

The vision brought me into light,
Out of the darkness engulfing,
Taught me to see hope again in spite,
Hope that never again was coming.

To dream a dream of a world,
Built around a vision of mirth,
When my stories while told,
Tears f'lowed sorrows in dearth.

What does a soul do when in pain,
It expects, it hopes, it prays
Not does anyone just explain,
Purifies the soul that's what all just say.

I saw the vision, and I hoped anew,
For a wonderful world to begin,
When t'was all that I had eschewed,
With hope, for love that I had once seen.

But expectations were they, and for the pain to take away,
For eternity the sinners soul in penance to stay,
A pain so searing, excruciating, the vision came to me to say,
Your life my friend, is and will be a night without the light of the day!!!

I can identify with this alot. you wish for something better, you feel u are doing all that u can, and then when u start to hope, something happens and smacks u right back down again.
