The past will always last

When i first met you, you were really sad.
so many things that you went through that make me mad
its such a relief that your here wit me
made alot of sacrifices of that life you used to lead
gave up on all kinds of drugs you used to use
not caring about the friend you would loose.
forgetting about the things that happened in the past
so much pain that will always last
tried to forget how his parents used to hit
leaving him with bruises he will always have to live with
remembering how his brother passed away
so many bad things i wish wouldn't stay
knowing that because of him his best friend died.
his always red because of so much hes cried
he got raped when he was only five
that same night could have lost his life
he had to grow up really fast
because of all these things that happened in the past
while his friends liked to have fun
he learned how to use a gun
its so sad how fast he had to grow
he knew thing that i still didn't even know.
