I Was Fine

I swear
I was okay,
I didn't do it once,
Not until today,

I didn't use a knife,
I didn't use a blade,
Blood wasn't lost,
& scars weren't made,

Today I just saw it,
I didn't even think,
It happened so fast,
Faster then you could wink,

I didn't mean to,
Why don't you believe me,
It just sort of happened,
Why can't you see,

I picked up the broken glass,
& blood did seep,
I made those cuts,
But the last was to deep...
