Before its thrown away

I used to be hopeless
Living my life recklessly
But now I'm on it
I used to think my life was unnoticed
But if thats in case
My life and i are thrown away
Its kinda sad cause theres so much to say
Where to begin? is this reality?
My parents always say that where i go, their always beside me
But yet, Ooh! Cant forget the moment how they raised me though
How they brought me outta trouble, how they told me so!
I thank god for my parents
Jesus christ was my only escape from appearance
Being brought to jail or prison
Its hard to believe but its somethin you must believe in
HaHa, its funny... cause even if im a witness, ya'll dont see it or believe it
Even if i speak in tongues, your unable to hear it
Wit your worldly ears and your worldly sight
After our pastor got done preachin
You go out livin your world a lie
Being a fornicator till your married, but why?
After the shows, and after the party, your high!
Knowing good and well weed doesnt mix wit god
But yet you cry out to him when your so close of gettin shot
Its the truth, it'll hit you harder than the swing from babe ruth
I know im funny but im serious, some of you out there so curious
As you can see, there's of course a point that im makin
Cant just sit up in church and say ahmen, knowing u faken
Showin your pastor you love her, but on the other line, you hatin
Tellin your friends you wish she didnt say it
Well why she gotta talk about people and their lives?
Why she callin us fornicators if we're not husbands and wives?
Well why you gotta stab pastor in the back wit a thousand of knives?
After you just got done talkin about your pain, hurt, and strife!
You need to quit, in other words, you need to repent
Get your life situated wit god before you end up sick
Heard of judgement day? When jesus christ comes back, watcha gonna say?
Repent now before it happens, get to the altar and stop nappin
You nappin, but your not guaranteed the next day
Get your life right before its thrown away
