Winds Fear

by k i k i   Sep 12, 2005

Opening my eyes to the big world,
There are so many differences, to you and me.
Behind any light, it looks so bleak,
A lifetime filled with hate, including me.
Wishing it would go away,
I hate me, and how I live today.

Close my window of a night,
Sky’s dark as ever.
Owl howls at me awakening,
Subtlety I hide my fear.
Shadows form on the newly painted wall,
Goblins and ghosts, ready to catch me.

I want to get away,
Dream all what I want, make it come true.
Newfound glory, an opportunity,
That will change who I am.
Whisper from the wind, tells me to keep going,
I will be alright.

The wind will hide my tears.
