Tonight

Sitting at my window,
staring up at the sky.
Watching all my dreams,
passing me by.

Wanting to tell you,
just how I feel.
Wishing of you,
your heart I could steel.

So many times,
I've wished on a star.
Never, not once,
has one came true, so far.

Now as I sit here,
thinking of you.
Hoping you'd be the one,
to make all my dreams come true.

As I write,
in the light of the moon.
I wish to myself,
that you notice me soon.

    I love this! You have to speak up or you'll always wonder what would have or could have happened had you told. Very nicely written...I love the last stanza...sitting in the light of the moon sets a romantic mode for wishing to be with your love....nice write!! :)
