The Battle

by Darren   Sep 13, 2005

Blood falls from weeping sky,
But all along, the gods were to die.

Humans left to fend off the Demon,
But some wish to free him.

Their bodies weak compared to Hell
Most have already fell.

But among the dead, heroes rise,
It is the Demons turn to die.

The world scarred, some still stand,
To reshape the battle worn land.

The love of earth is reborn,
And gone now is greed and scorn.

Humanity redeemed, dreams live,
Most now remember to give.
