Reflection Under Water

You look at the rose
Only to see the poison drip
Onto the limp body that is laying beneath

You look once more
Only to see that the body beneath
Is Your only love
What are you to do

You jump up as another drop falls
And you grab the body
Only to suck the poison out
It didn't work

You shed layers of skin
Only to now find out she is bleeding
And her heart beat slows to only a ripple in the water
You loose control
Trying everything but it doesn't work

Your only love lies dead on the floor
Next to the rose that's filled with poison
You go insane
Only to see yourself drowning
In the the clear blue pond
You notice your lungs feel dry
But before you notice whats happening
Your body grows limp and you sink
To the bottom of the pond
