Beautiful rose

by Unrequited   Sep 13, 2005

Reach inside
nothing
silence is all that's left
all that remains
loneliness
the number one cause of death
reach inside
... nothing

a withered rose
slowly fading
as it tries to hold on
as long as i am here
the petals will remain

please don't fade away
I'll pray for you
everyday
... beautiful rose

reach inside me
nothing
not even silence remains
loneliness
there's no such thing
i am empty
for i gave it all to you

i reach inside you
... something
something still remains

my withered rose
one day, you will bloom again
and i will fight to the end for you
... my beautiful rose
