If Only (You Knew)

by Tom   Sep 13, 2005

It will be shown with more than just words;
Then all your dreams would be knocking at your door.
If only I could write your name in the stars;
It'll be the brightest constellation by far.
If only you knew what you do to my knees;
Just wave your wand and you've got a spell over me.
If only I could fly with you like a dove in the sky;
Soar so far away for the rest of my life.
If only I found your slipper at the stroke of midnight;
You have the charm of Cinderella and the eyes of Snow White

If only there was some way you could read my mind;
Now I can show you you're one of a kind.
I'll write it down in a song;
Serenade you at the stroke of dawn.
If only there was a flower that had your name;
I couldn't imagine a prettier bouquet.
If only you knew that you were born in God's eyes;
Like the stars and the Heaven's your essence is divine.
If only we were something out of a fairytale;
Because my ever after would be spent with an angel.
