Hopes

by Matthew Guitor   Sep 14, 2005

I will hope and pray no longer,
I will think and say no longer,
I won't expect good plans to work,
When they don't I only look like a jerk,
I hate what has happened,
My week it has COMPLETELY crappend,
I am sad,
So I write this ballad,
I know it's not your fault,
I cannot put your life on halt,
I'll see you another time,
This may not be a crime,
But I still have to pay a sentence,
The massacre of my hopes is relentless,
So I will expect no longer,
Now I am stronger.
