Missing You...

Allison...
My friend, my confidant, my sister
since I heard the news last night
my life has been a blur...

I know that in life things happen
that we just don't understand
It's all a part of Gods will
It's in our good lords hands...

But though these things happen
still i cannot comprehend...
Why God...why
why did you take away our friend?

Trying to sleep last night was hard
memories kept running through my head
I decided not to be mad at God
but to thank him for you instead..

There were so many good times
that you and I had shared
Like our vacations to Ocean City
where we lived without a care...

Ocean City, Seven-Elevens,
silly faces and shopping malls,
boyfriends and broken hearts
we were together through it all...

For the birth of my son,
you were close by again
Yes, God has truly blessed me
with a wonderful, loving friend...

I'll miss you so much Allison,
All the memories of which you were a part
You've had an impact on my life,
and will live forever in my heart.
