Katrina

by Nathan   Sep 15, 2005

Darkness prevails,
Same places no sound.
People just wait,
Wondering where they are bound.

How can such disaster,
Become about race?
They just can't stand it,
They won't go face-to-face

Destruction,
Flooding,
Attention,
Who's to blame?
Racial Comments
Do people have no shame?

People crying,
For everything thats lost.
People screaming,
It's all about the cost.

Why sit there,
And wonder who's to blame?
Get off your ass and help,
Your just driving yourself insane

Think of everything,
Everyone that was lost.
Help them,
Just think about the costs.

While your at it,
Tell someone else.
It could be my life,
That your taking off the shelf.
