Shout out to you

This is yet another random poem about nothing and nobody in particular

Those times you didn't want to live and left me with goodbye
I spent many sleepless nights wishing you to live through the night
So I would just sit down and pray
It's made me what I am today
And when I saw your harm it nearly brought me to tears
Something I will remember for the rest of my years
Coming to school everyday hoping for you to be there
And then seeing you smile, those times were very rare
Killing to know what was wrong begging you to please explain
But I would never understand the reasons for your pain
And the special times we shared will always stay in my thoughts
But secretly in the back of my mind the dreadful moments taunt
Those many times you said you were fine when I knew that was untrue
It's made me what I am today, This is my shout out to you
