Love is lost

Love is lost, but has no place to go
wanted, then given up, by someone that didn't know

for a person is indecisive, confused and unsure
doesn't know when a love is tainted, or has always been pure

fearful of mistaking a light, to a flame that will burn
choices one must make, to understand what is learned

if a future foreseen by two, is planted with only one the changing of loves fate, can never be undone

a heart cannot tell you truths, without telling lies to find which is true, the answer in the eyes

staring deeply into the body, feeling safe, warm and secure
they have always been there in friendship, no, lots more

before deciding a life, with a future, and a love is now finished
picture going through it all without the one, who should've been in it

for love is lost, but has no place to go
it is now still wanted but now the other doesn't know.
