Love's Curse

by Ruby K P   Sep 16, 2005

The scars on your wrists only you'll understand,
I just hope to God they weren't for a man.

God never intended love to bring so much pain,
I bet even cupid won't shoot an arrow again.

All we seem to discuss is the pain love brings about,
Yet so many people fall in love without a single doubt.

We make love out to be some sort of evil curse,
But we'd love again and again if we put time in reverse.

In all honesty, love is a beautiful thing,
But when it all goes wrong, hell does it sting.
