Domestic suicide

by Talisa   Sep 17, 2005

When he kissed the world stopped spinning
And when he moved she heard a choir singing.
When they touched electric sparks flew
She was so wrapped up in him
And there was nothing she could do.

When he moved in her world kept spinning
But when he slapped her she knew it was just the beginning.
She desperately loved him; he liked her too
She wished that he loved her
But there was nothing she could do.

She fought with her emotions, while he played with her mind
And while he kept hitting her she continued to be kind.

While she hoped that he'd stop
She feared that he couldn't
She hoped for the wounds to fade,
And feared that they wouldn't

Then one day he stood in the hall
She took the shotgun from the wall
Three clear shots heard three blocks away
He lay there dying while she stood there crying
On that fateful day.
