A man without a woman

by Alex   Sep 17, 2005

A man without a woman's like a snail without a shell
A ship without a rudder, no water in his well.
A victim of the rigors and calamities of life
With none to offer words of wit or be his loving wife.

A man without a woman's like a sailor lost at sea
Afloat on so much water yet no drop his thirst can free.
Surrounded by much friendly folk and fond attention shown
Tho some could maybe satisfy, he still feels lost and lone.

A man without a woman's a man without a goal
Each winding path he wanders brings sorrow to his soul.
His feet have no direction, he returns the way he came,
His actions have no purpose and his life has no real aim!

A man without a woman's not really quite a man
No need to be so macho, no need to get a tan.
No need for him to comb his hair, his pants can stay unpressed
And as he trundles to his grave, ... who cares how he is dressed?

A man without a woman's touch is torture in extreme
If once he's tasted of her wares but now can only dream.
He aches to make them come alive her pictures in his head
But since frustrated is his wish ... he might as well be dead!
