Just To Make The Pain Go Away

I know what its like to cut and to bleed,
Just to make the pain away.
For the pain that I feel,
Is far too much.
And nothing I do,
Seems to ease my suffering.
So I reach for my blade,
Its my only hope.
The only thing,
That can understand my pain.
So I take my blade from its hiding place,
And slide it across my wrist.
The pain washes away,
As my blood flows free.
I feel better now,
Ive had my release.
But I know that I will do this again,
Just to make the pain go away.
