After The Storm

Tuesday afternoon
And rain is on the street
Lost in my world
Taping my sorrowful feet.

The tears in the sky
Make this world so gray
They are trying to say its goodbye
But I know they\'ll be gone by Friday
Just in time for you and I

You are all that I need
But this rain tries to bring me down
Sometimes I get washed away
But Iâ??ll be back to wipe away your frown

The worries of this life build up
As the grey clouds fill the sky
But then I look at your picture on my wall
And you lift me so high

After this storm
Rainbows will shine
The sun will be so bright
Once again I will be able to call you mine
