Glistening Crimson Tears

by xEmmax   Sep 23, 2005

I sat there in the silence
so sad but unable to cry
so desperate for those gentle tears
but i couldn't even try

The only hope left
lay in my crimson tears
in the pain and calmness they brought
releasing all of my fears

All week I've managed to cry
as i struggle to hold on tight
but the pain is so intense
there will only be red tears tonight

I break the ice of numbness
i know i cannot win
here come the beautiful crimson tears
running across my skin

They glisten and dance
a shade of darkening red
and with them all the screaming pain
eases away from my head

I wake up with heavy eyelids
my wrists and arms they sting
i don't want to live this anymore
please end my suffering.
