Our Brightest Star*

by Kimberly   Sep 23, 2005

(this poem is dedicated in loving memory of my papa)

you were the mother,
the father, and
the grandfather,
you knew what to do if things
went wrong, if anyone had a question,
we could get the
right answer from you,
you were intelligent,
smart,a great cook, but
most of all LOVING!
you are no longer suffering,
cause now you have,
begun your journey.
at night I try to look for the brightest star, because I
know that will be you
looking down on me.
you will always be remembered,
and someday we can be
with you for enternal life.
it really sucks that
no one could give u their last hug, last goodbye, or their last words to you, but
we know that you are finally home, and
God knew it was time for you to go home with him and relive your life.
