Sythetic Smile

by Mrs. BOB   Sep 24, 2005

She walks through the black and white day.
Hoping her pain will soon fade away.
Nothing is real to her, every smile is fake
She prays at night that she will never awake

Tattoo on her wrist that says slit here.
Drowning with every single tear
Gloominess surrounds her, smothering her airway
Coming closer to a synthetic stairway

Her dreams are much better than her reality could be.
Her desperation is so clear to see.
She cradles her head in her hands, and rolls in to a ball.
She is wounded but without one scratch at all.

Her mental state is unrepairablely Distressed.
She has certainly out used the word depressed.
Clawing her way to her final resting place.
Her Life has been such an unmissable disgrace.

Shattered pieces of fallen angel wings
So secluded in by fearful things.
Wants to live out side these dreams.
But has no words is what it seems.
In a far distance you can hear her screams,
of pain and terror its so extreme.

Seems like she dug her own grave
A young life some one should save
Never being sure what mistake she is making
Feeling alone with this smile she is faking.
