THIS IS ME

I am like a sun every single day I share my warmth
I am like a moon at the darkest hour I give my light
I am like a cloud at times I let myself pour it down
I am like a rainbow glowing after the strong storm

I am like a stone if you drop me I will not break
I am like a ship I try not to let the waves sink me
I am like a sand if held loosely ill stay in your palm
I am like the sea you may think I come too strong

I am like a mother I give my love unconditionally
I am like a father always providing the very best
I am like a child I still ask people why and why not
I am like a home I will protect you under my shelter

I am like a promise, against all odds I will not fail
I am like clock to me each second means so much
I am like a picture I hold the memories in my heart
I am like a poem read me and you will understand
