I Moved Away

Pulled Up On The Drive Way,
Had Smile On My Face,
That Soon Went Away...
Because Without You Its An Empty Place.

Heart pounding,
I make my way through the door,
Never really realizing,
I wouldn't be able to see you anymore.

Oh how my heart broke,
When I finally had to say goodbye,
Felt like I could choke,
But for some reason, I couldn't cry.

I felt stupid,
So disappointed,
To think I had no control,
Just slowly spiraling down this hole...

But I picked myself up,
Got introduced to a new 'you',
Still had no luck,
Again, there was nothing I could do...

Moving away killed me,
But time goes on,
What will be will be,
I guess it will be something I live with.
