Fades

by Danielle   Sep 24, 2005

Brillant sunlight erupts in this colden room
There's nothing there, no more to consume.
Mermaids and Angels emerge tonight
Echoing passages with no leading light.
Counting the dawns until the numbers fade
The shining light has turn to jade.
Learn to live before growing old
These memories you've taken we will hold.
I lay to sleep to remember the good
These words aren't hard to be understood.
The beautiful light is starting to fade
And now these eyes are turning to jade.
