Dear Mum and Dad

by Truest Lies   Sep 25, 2005

Dear Mum and Dad,
I love you very much,
But there are times when I cant stand you,
Like such.
Sometimes you act so plastic,
As though you really dont care,
Whether one of you is happy or not, and that's bad, you know.

Maybe thirty years is too long, perhaps youre tired of hearing the same song,
The same argument...
But its still wrong.

So please stay together,
And please try to smile,
I promise you that with time,
Everything gets better.

Anyway, happy soon to be anniversary,
I hope that this year you remember,
To celebrate the wonderful date, when the two of you got together.

*To my parents, who *almost* broke up a while back, and who have trouble remembering the special occasions.

This is excellent! I loved this... I'm really sorry to hear about your parents...And it was good of you to remind them about the good and bad times. You should show this to them if you haven't already.
