Running Away

by Arkon   Sep 25, 2005

So I'll take every book page that I left unturned
And I'll take what I learned
I'll leave simply without a trace
And become just another face

I start up the car but the engine is dead
Thinking quickly I guess you could say I used my head
So I head for the garage and take my bike
Kickstand up and give the pedals a strike

As cold air fills through my hair
And my eyes peeled back from the wind
Cars turn corners give me a scare
So fastly I'm quick to notice this trouble I'm in

Dodging night time demons and hell's dominions
Screw you to all public opinions
Just scream in your face and see how it feels
To know what happens when your heart get's caught by a one time steal

Forget all that you know and start over again
Lose everything and everyone and all your friends
Run away and find yourself in another place
Run away and lose the race.
