Awayke...

So much pressure and stress in this life of mine.
I wish that I could find some time.
Just to chill and unwind.
I wish that all my problems would fade.
Even if it's just for a day.
But problems let you know your still alive.
If we didn't have them, we couldn't tell if we lived or died.
Today my world is in a rainday.
I don't know what to say.
I wish I could push it all away.

Sleep is my refuge.
When these problems seem huge.
Stress rains on me.
And as far as the eye can see.
Even if it seems as though my life is fine.
There's still alot of pressure and stress in this life of mine.
I ask god why this is happening.
And all I can do is wait to see what time will bring.
In my minds eye that isn't enough.
I find that keeping my cool is getting tough.

Smiles aren't smiles anymore.
My laugh isn't my laugh anymore.
In the shadows, in my dreams.
In my laughs and silent screams.
Problems wait.
I wish that I could push them away.
But they wait for me to be awake...
