I WASN'T MEANT TO FAIL

Broken efforts and failed tries
The hope I hold now begins to die,
Anger starts to build itself
And the one to blame seems myself.

Regret and guilt piles inside
And until I'm home the tears I'll hide
And so behind my bedroom door
There I'll cry until I can't cry no more.

A fallen soul, a shattered heart,
Failure rips all my dreams apart,
Doubtful thoughts run in my mind,
I wasn't meant to fail - not this time.
