Mistaken

He licks his lips, She flicks her hair,

How flirtatious can they be?

Chemistry so out there,

People in space could see.

After some drinks, she finally thinks,

"Its time to take him home."

After a touch and some suggestive blinks

The clothes come of and so does the phone.

Seven days fly by quick

She's been talking to his answering machine

She realizes what kind of man she picked

How could he be so mean?

At the cafeé, the very next day,

He's with another girl.

After convincing herself that he was gay

She now just wants to hurl.

She knows she was mistaken

She felt like such a fool

But soon with some herb she's baking

Instead of sad, she's chilling just cool

But on the news, not long after that

She finds that he is dead

His date, sociopath, had a thing for rats

He should have stayed with her instead.

Hahahahahaha...wait, is this poem listed under the category of funny? Anyways, it sure did make me laugh.

If it were to be a serious poem, you must take out all the crap about him being gay and etcetera.
