Fall Moon Fever

by Bill Turner   Sep 28, 2005

Radiant moon, full in the sky
Wisps of cloud hanging in the air
Love light shining in your eye
Tossing back your long brown hair

Fingers entwined, hands together
Love enveloping us, wrapping us tight
Mist floating specter like, light as a feather
Hiding the ground, reflecting the light

Suddenly the air has grown cold
Dew collecting on all it can see
Pulling you close, feeling bold
Leaning in, will you kiss me?

Lips and tongues coming together
Bodies electric in the night
Vapors cloud the moon, Mother Nature clever
Darkness surrounding the lovers, everything all right

Winds begin to blow cold
Rain falls from the sky
Lovers daring and bold
Naked in the blink of an eye

Bodies coming together
Sizzling in the rain
Wishing fall would last forever
Summers last refrain
