No Regrets

by Rachel   Sep 28, 2005

She looked into the mirror
Wiped the eyeliner descending from her eyes
And screamed at her reflection
"You are worthless."
She smashed the mirror
And all the little pieces of herself
Come raining upon her
She staggered to her room
Grabbed a razorblade
and sat on the bed.
She made a beautiful scar on her arm
All her pain in the one cut
She went into her parent's room
And grabbed the gun out of the closet.
She stared at the gun for hours
Admiring the danger in it.
No would notice, she thought.
No one would miss me
And then, she drew a goodbye on her wrist,
swallowed her regret
And pulled the trigger
