April 26th

As we drove up the street I could tell by all the stopped cars that something was up. Something bad had happened up the road. As we got closer up to the accident I could smell the burning rubber and metal from the cars. It was so bad that you could almost taste it. The smoke pored into the sky making it grey. I looked out my window and was praying that everyone was ok. All I could see was bright flashing lights and two cars burned down to the frames. As I was praying I was feeling sorry for the families and them getting that call that said someone they loved has died. When I got home I found out that I was that family when my mom got off the phone crying, it was my uncle Tim. We went to the hospital that day and he looked pretty bad he had from scraps to burns all over. As tears ran down my momâ??s face, they began to pore when the doctor told us that he would be paralyzed from the waste down. He would not be able to walk for the rest of his lifeâ?¦ wow and he was in so much pain that he said that he rather just die then living with out legs. He did not want to be living in a hospital bed with machines helping him breathe. That was just not how he wanted to live. It was sad for the family but in the end he got what he wanted. He had stopped fighting it and just gave up on himself. April 26th was the day that all of this happened and the day that my whole life changed.
