I wrote this for my daughters daycare on Aug. 9, 1995
You all are my children
whom i love everyday
with your singing and laughter
and the games you play
you come and stay for a while
and then you leave
leaving behind all the fond memories
i often think of the children before you
whom i loved and cared for to
then soon will come the day
when you to will leave
then you also will be in my memory
i try so hard to not get attached
but that is impossible to do
for i see you everyday
and we laugh and play
so you see i cant help
but fall in love with you
so everyday that i have you
ill just love you as much as i can
till the day we part ways
and forever you'll always
remain in my heart
