Dreams of a faded past
come back to me
and frighten me
but comfort me
in my confusion
my loneliness
so i sit in silence
with the harsh
words you said
clenching my heart
words,words that still linger
at my lips
i place a finger to them
and whisper
to the nothingness
secrets to the wind
where they will
be lost forever
never returning
like you they will never
come back
just a memory
is all i have
and soon it to will fade
into a dream
that will be forgotten
just like i am to you
