My girls...

This is for my two girls...My younger sisters..I love you both...more than you'll ever know...

Mommy wasn't ever there and I don't know why.
I think about it now and it's hard not to cry.
Tears stream from my eyes.
And right then a part of me dies.
Back then we were all we had.
We never had a dad.
But I guess we did okay.
Were still here waiting to see another day.

My first memories in life were with you two.
I look at how far you've come and I don't know what to do.
The times changed but not me.
And as you can see.
I'm still here.
Right here.
There isn't anything I wouldn't do for you two girls.
You two are my world.
Nobody ever laid a hand on you.
Not when I came through.
I got beat but you didn't and I\'m glad.
But now that I think of it, it makes me sad.
Tears rain from my eyes.
And then I remember all of mommy's lies.
She said she loved us.
But then her lies hit me like a bus.
Some mom, she don't remember what she did.
I raise you both, AS A KID.
Three years old and taking care of you two.
In that timeframe there wasn't much she could do.
She drank way to much.
And to think she said she loved us.
I still have you two.
Without you I don't know what I'd do.
You two are my world.
Because, you two are my girls...
