There she is again...

by Forsaken Redeemer   Oct 3, 2005

'There she is again,
That poor girl,
The one who tried to take
Her life from this world.'

'There she is again,
Tears streaming down her face,
Always crying,
Such a disgrace.'

'There she is again,
She tries so hard not to cry,
Everyone knows
She wants to die.'

'There she is again,
Her arms covered in scars,
Always walking around
Gazing at the stars.'

'There she is again,
Her eyes always glazed with tears,
She tried so hard
To face her fears.'

There she is again,
Always so strong,
Even when she knows
Her existence is wrong.'

Idle gossip
Around the town,
Always seeing the girl
With the frown.

I know who they're talking about,
I see her each day,
Walking around,
As I go on my way.

But one day I look in the mirror,
At that pale, tear streaked face,
I know I shouldn't
Be in this place.

But as I look at my reflection,
Think how things could be,
I realize the girl they whisper about,
The girl...it's me...
