Have you ever wanted someone
Who was just beyond your touch
Have you ever loved them madly
Knew you needed them so much

Have you ever closed your eyes
And dreamed of only them
Have you ever awoke alone
Wishing you were in the dream again

Have you ever saw a star
That reminded you of their eyes
Have you ever heard a song
That echoed your lonely cries

Have you ever saw a sunset
And wished that they were there
Have you ever touched the finest silk
And been reminded of their hair

Have you ever saw a dew-kissed rose
That reminded you of their lips
Have you ever walked in the rain
Imagining the drops were their fingertips

Have you ever done these things
I cannot be the only one
Have you ever really known true love
If none of these you've ever done
