I Know He's There

I feel the stare,
Upon my back.
I know hes there,
Amoungst the black.

I raise my hand, reach out,
All i feel is night.
I know he's there, somewhere about,
Somewhere out of sight.

His eyes burn bright,
And show the way.
I know he's there, in the night,
He's not too far away.

I look but now i cannot see,
But I feel the chill.
I know he's there, waiting for me,
Standing somewhere, stiff and still.

A game of catch me if you can,
A same game we always play...
I know he's there, i know he stands,
He's watching my every move today.

I know he's somewhere,
I know he's near.
I know he's there,
The death i fear.
