Winter Ahead (Lira)

by Simon Hayes   Oct 4, 2005

Autumn leaves of brown and red,
Melting slowly from the deciduous trees.
Summer gone, winter ahead,
No bright flowers or bees.
The crisp, cold, autumn air drops to twelve degrees.

Hmm, I'm not sure I've heard of this style before. I should look into it. A very nice poem, but I don't know the structure :P
