Demon replacement

by Ashelin   Oct 4, 2005

A scream filled my ears
as blood rushed over my hands.
I looked up
tears mixing with the flowing of my blood.

I shook my head
refusing to believe what I saw
refusing to believe
that this could have happened

A demonic creature
stood over me and grinned
freed from my mistake
freed from my own sin

I shook my head
closing my eyes
the demon took a new shape
stealing my face

"I shall replace you"
the cracking voiced hissed
"You are now mine"
The demon said, through bloodied lips

It reached down to me
wrapping it's claws about my neck
Squeezing my life
from my cold, dying body.
