Thank you dear god

This poem is a rondeau

thank you dear God, for the lived yesterday,
for the peccable, yet satisfactory array,
in which ive managed to find beauty innate,
which taught me, that little love and little hate,
is what makes this world this way.

i am even more grateful for the blessed today,
which i earn with every yesterday that passes away,
which teaches me that now can never be too late.
thank you dear God.

every short lived today makes me pray,
tomorrows awaited sun shining ray,
which will let you and me work out my fate,
which will let us comprehend, compromise, and create,
the story of my continuing, never ending live play.
