A True Gift

There's no way I deserve you
All the things I do
And I wind up with an angel like you
It is to good to be true
I have made a lot of mistakes
Some I could handle
And some I couldn't take
I have been places
Where I shouldn't have been
I screw up again and again
But to be given the chance
To have a person that changes my life
A person that hides me from the darkness
And shows me the light
That is a true gift
One that only love can give
And I will always cherish that
