Emerald life

by Ashelin   Oct 5, 2005

An ancient tune
A pounding beat
The whisper of a flute
As life and death meet

A deep emerald forest
A misty, silver lake
I've gone to emerald Isle
A story I must make

Traveling the path of fay
Searching for the fair ones
Sleeping by great Nimue
Traveling by the Irish sun

I've seen so many things
And written my heart felt tale
It's taken me my whole life
And now I hear the banshee wail

Farewell to those that shall miss me
Goodbye to those I loved so sweet
I've lived my life to the fullest
Now I'll go and see where life and death meet.

~* just to let you know, Nimue is the celtic moon goddess, also called Morgan. The Irish sun in this refers to the goddess CAILLEACH BHEUR *~
