Friend

*ok i was just thinking alott cause i didnt know what to do*

I know u might not know this,
But you were my very first friend when I moved,
I was shy and quiet in class,
But that didnt seem to bother you.

You were the best,
and everybody loved you.
And that soon inspired me,
To be happy and cheerful just like you.

We became best of friends,
Even though we were opposites.
You liked to play sports,
But I liked to draw all day.

Your hair was blonde as gold,
And mines were black as night.
But we shared one common interest,
We both loved to write silly immature poems.

I still remember those times,
In writers workshop and funny games.
I wonder what your doing right now,
Are looking at the same stars as I am?
