One Day

It's over now
It's said and done
the battle we've been fighting
can not be won

I'm letting you go
I'm now on my own
I'm forced to go forth
and face this world alone

There's some things I'll miss
and I may want to go back
but I have to remind myself
eventually i'll be back on track

Things are getting better
each and every day
it's hard to make it
but I'm finding my way

one day it'll be better
and I'll no longer have to lie
one day tears will ceast to exist
